The WORD Says was birthed out of a passion for discovering the truth and power of God's Word. As believers, we believe that all Scripture was written under inspiration of God and we stand on that belief based on the Word of God itself. Paul, in his letter to Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, wrote:

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

If God gave us these words, His intention was that we know them and use them to shape us, guide us, nurture us, and prosper us. But what do we do if we have trouble understanding His words? Well, we pray, ask the Holy Spirit for revelation, and meditate on His words.  However, sometimes we still struggle to comprehend and we need other believers to help us understand what certain passages mean. That is why this blog was created. It is intended to address some of the misunderstood passages that believers sometimes glass over, because they are obscure or misunderstood. The intention of this blog is not to disparage or belittle anyone's interpretation of God's Word, but to help explain His Word when assistance may be needed.
